Magna's Tools for Vendors

Running a vendor table at TCG events means making split-second decisions: Is this card worth buying? What's it actually selling for right now? Which cards in this set actually matter?

We were tired of guessing. The existing apps were slow, cluttered with ads, or didn't work without cell signal — which at most card show venues is terrible. So we built our own tools. A live price checker that pulls real TCGdex market data with offline caching so everything works even when the venue WiFi doesn't. Two master set checklists for Pokémon and Magic where you can track what you own or what you need at the show.

We use these tools at every show we vend and at the shows we attend as buyers. Now they're available to you — free, no signup required. If you do sign up for Premium access to remove advertising you will also get one, and only one, email every month with our vendor newsletter. Premium is just $1 for 6 months and supports future tools development.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these tools really free? Yes. All four tools — Pokémon Top 25 Price Tracker, MTG Top 25 Price Tracker, Pokémon Master Checklist, and MTG Master Checklist — are completely free to use. No signup is required. We display advertising to cover server costs, and offer a Premium option ($1 for 6 months) that removes all ads and includes a monthly newsletter.

Where does the price data come from? Pokémon TCG prices are sourced from TCGdex, which aggregates data from TCGPlayer and Cardmarket. MTG prices come from Scryfall, which uses TCGPlayer market pricing. Both APIs are free and open-source.

Do the tools work offline? The price tracker tools cache data in your browser when you load a set. If you lose internet at a card show, the last-loaded prices remain visible. This is especially useful at card show venues where cell signal is often poor. See the About Magna's Tools page for detailed offline instructions.

How accurate are the prices? Prices reflect recent marketplace sales data, not estimates. However, card condition, grading potential, and local market conditions all affect actual sale prices. Use these prices as a starting point for your own research. We recommend cross-referencing with TCGPlayer sold listings and eBay completed auctions for high-value cards.

What is Premium access? Premium removes all advertising from every page for 6 months. It also includes one monthly email newsletter with price trend highlights, new set release information, and updates from Magna's Market. Premium costs $1 for 6 months. You can also get Premium for free using a promo code from our table at card shows.

Do I need an account? No account is needed to use any of the tools. You can create a free account if you want to manage Premium status or receive the newsletter, but it's not required. Your checklist progress is saved in your browser, not on our server.

Popular Pokémon TCG Sets to Track

About Magna's Market

Magna's Market is a Pokémon TCG vendor based in Northern Virginia, vending and attending card shows throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. We built these tools for our own use at card shows — to quickly check prices, track our collection, and make informed buying and selling decisions. After realizing how useful they were, we decided to make them available to all collectors and vendors for free.

We're not a large corporation or a venture-backed startup. We're a vendor table at card shows who happens to know how to build web tools. If you see us at a show, stop by and say hello — we'd love to hear how you're using the tools and what features you'd like to see next. You can also check our Events page to see where we'll be vending next.
